This interactive resource includes summative and formative assessment opportunities. Each of which is associated with a different part of the resource and is expected to be completed with the completion of certain sections of the resource. 

Below is an outline of the Assignments found in this resource, the Assignments will be further explained individually. 

FORMATIVE ASSESSMENTS–30%: assessments that are used as an educational opportunity to apply and learn the material.

  1. ASSIGNMENT #5: Quizzes (10%) (INDIVIDUAL)→ completed through google forms at the end of each section. These will provide feedback instantly after completion. These are graded for completion not for accuracy
  2. ASSIGNMENT #1: Self-care Mindmap (20%) (INDIVIDUAL)→ completed virtually after the Introduction to self-care section of the resource. This is an opportunity to reflect on how self-care is integrated into your life and therefore will be graded for completion

SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENTS–70%: Assignments that will showcase competency in the topics and will be graded based on accuracy and the rubrics provided. 

  1. ASSIGNMENT #2: Self-care Infographic (20%) (GROUP)→ this will be completed at the end of the Emotional Self-care section of the resource once that sections quiz has been completed. This assignment has the students creating the “ultimate guide to self-care” for university students. 
  2. ASSIGNMENT #3: Research Report (40%) (INDIVIDUAL)→ this will be completed at the end of the Physical Self-care section of the resource once Assignment one and the Quizzes have been completed. This assignment has the students apply their analytical and research skills to create a essay/podcast on different self-care practices with the support of journals and other primary sources. 
  3. ASSIGNMENT #4: Final Reflection (10%) (INDIVIDUAL) →  Has students reflect on the self-care strategies they have learned throughout the course, in addition to the ways they plan on incorporating this self-care into their lives in the future. This assignment will be completed in a journal format and will not be graded based on grammar, just the depth and ideas found in the learners reflection.
